2021 Sundance Film Festival

January 28, 2021 @ 10:00 am - February 3, 2021 @ 7:00 pm

In 2007 Blackhouse launched at the Sundance Film Festival with no proof of concept, ran the full length of the festival, and began to change the face of independent film. We sparked a metamorphosis.

COVID-19, George Floyd’s murder, and the resulting global racial reckoning have created such disruption and loss.

However, just as we did in 2007, Blackhouse sees glimmers of possibility. As we return to a full festival run of programming at the virtual Sundance Film Festival 2021, we are intent on changing the world for Black creators…again.

Welcome!
